To provide a unique source of inspiration encapsulating all aspects of art, fashion and design.
BRIEF HISTORY
AWonderingStar was set up in May 2009 as an art, design and fashion inspirational Blog via the web host, Blogger. A unique url was purchased in December 2009 as page visits continued to grow and advertising campaigns began.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
Future Development of AWonderingStar includes a range of traffic based targets defined in Google Analytics. Within the next 6 months, more advertising campaigns will set up. Advertising Space will be bought from www.joannagoddard.blogspot.com www.bleubirdvintage.typepad.com and www.citifed.blogspot.com all of which receive between 80,000-170,000 page visits pcm. Pages visits growth is at approximately 10% pcm, another primary aim is to increase this to 20%pcm.

The monthly average site visits is 42,000 and growing by an approximate 10% each month. As stated above, the aim over the next six months is to increase this growth to 20%. Based on an exponential growth in visitors, by December 2010 I anticipate that the page views will increase to over 70,000.
Traffic to AWonderingStar is generated (on average) directly via Blogger (from followers) 30%, Facebook Fanpage (15%), Twitter (10%), Flickr(10%), AWonderingStar Adverts (20%) and other sources (15%). Weekly features are listed to the left with the average daily page views. Between these posts, I publish my own content such as “what I wore,” general updates, my own photography (which is published to www.flickr.com/photos/patriciasnook) and general updates. Around once a month, AWonderingStar features a giveaway which is very popular, primarily Etsy.com sellers will give a discounted rate for an item such as a unique handmade necklace and I will buy it to give away to a randomly selected person who leaves a comment. This always proves very popular depending on the item being given away.
AWonderingStar receives the majority of its hits from the UK, Europe, Austrailia and The USA. The visitor distribution maps to the left illustrate this. As a result of returning reader comments, I have identified the target audience as affluent females aged between 14 and 30 who have an interest in fashion, photography and shopping.

AWonderingStar’s promise to you is that under no circumstances will an advertisers contact details be passed onto a Third Party. As an advertiser myself, I would feel it to be wholly unprofessional for my details to be distributed without consent, and so I promise the same to you.
No improper content, which includes vulgar language, nudity, reference to substances, etc will ever be published on AWonderingStar.
All comments left on AWonderingStar are followed up, on average 40% of visitors are returning or followers.
