My Sweethearts,

This weekend past, it's been pretty darn snowy. Now, I'm not a miserable person, generally. I've grown up in the mountains, spent alot of time in Lesotho growing up. Now that was cold. A bit of snow counted as 2meters. I like snow, I like to sit with a skinny mocha and watch it hit the ground, in a warm centrally heated environment.

So on sunday, the snow was pretty heavy. Andy and I currently live in High Wycombe, a little town a stones throw from the capital. One of the main features of the town is two frigging steep hills either side of the valley. Getting my little Suzuki Swift out of a series of hills and streets to the main heavily gritted Amersham Hill, took 40minutes and alot of shovelling to move around 50meters.

We went out for a walk, I thought I'd leave the Sam Edelmans for Vibram hiking boots and thermals. Fantastic idea.

While hibernating from the Guys apartment in town, Andy and I made a whole lotta... and ate it all! With butter!!!

My loves,

There are a few very consistent elements to my life. The two I'm going to share with you today are breakfast and music. A few days out of the week, breakfast is a rushed gulp of fresh coffee and half a marmite bagel as I'm running for early starts. Whatever tries to get in the way, I never let breakfast slip, otherwise I come out with brain farts like "Snook, S as in Snake, N as in Nostril, O as in Octopus and K as in Clown." Tool.

In terms of music, I lost a few junctions last week driving back from a meeting. Josh T Person's album Last of the Country Gentlemen had arrived via amazon that morning and I was listening to his heartbreakingly beautiful melodies for the first time. Talk about distraction! And, not to mention, he wears limp tees and has beautiful long locks!

On commutes where I'm not feeling haunting heartbreak, I've been loving Fruit Bats {blogged already here} and Wye Oak {below}

Fabulous new years wishes to each and every one of you! After a wonderful weeks break with family and friends it's time to get back to normality, and what better way to start than with a whole lotta' shopping. Items which I'm craving at the moment include the Marta Jonsson speedy bag below, I'm still very 2006 and will wear any speedy religiously in the fold of my arm! I found it via Marisota, the brand which distributes women's plus size catalogues, it's just perfectly functional, and fabulously practical. I'm medically in need of replacing my pedestrian Raybans with some huge oversized Fendi sunglasses. Actually, all the below items I've found online at Marisota, they're a pretty all encompassing one stop shop for pretty much everything!

Anyway, at the moment, with the weather so temperamental in the UK, I'm loving the practicality of riding boots, huge scarves and warm knits! Moisturising lipgloss is staple with winds gusting and frosty mornings.

With so much ahead this week, emails to catch up on, images to send to the printers, books to get out, clients to get back to, it's going to be a great year ahead!

I hope you've had a brilliant festive period!!! Earlier in the week, my father and I headed south. We drove three hours to our family on the South Coast in the fabulous town of Bridport. My Grandmother is a brilliant cake baker and fantastic retired athlete, spending time with her was so sweet. Just a quick morning run, or 2km from our family home in Bridport, is West Bay, a strange coastal town locked in an eerie time warp. But it still makes for a nice brisk walk! Located in Bridport is my uncle's world famous hat shop, T Snooks.

Right now, I've been up since five forty working at demolishing the above to do list. I set myself daily and mid term goals often, and ticking them off mentally in your head is a pretty sweet feeling. To say that I feel like the below image, quite often, is an understatement. All my life I have had pressure after pressure, and that's where I thrive. About, five years ago, Itunes directed me to Stin Hansen - My Thought Coach. I now meditate daily, and that's not meditation in the sense of sitting cross legged going "ummmmmm". Each morning as I wake up, I think clearly and remind myself of some positive affirmations. It's helped adjust my thought patterns, from negative thoughts "I can't do it, I'll never be as good, I'm not clever enough" to much more positive and motivational self talk. Stin's meditation for sleep (available free on Itunes) has been a huge help in my life. I fall asleep immediately as my head hits the pillow, and I fall into an immediate deep sleep, without any worry or anxiety. Falling asleep so fast allows for less hours dedicated to sleep and I wake up refreshed and feeling great. This has been the case for over half a decade now.

During the winter months, my photography always drops. There are fewer getting married in the cold months, the locations shooting is limited, everything comes to a subtle cadence.

I've been really poorly this last week. The year seems to catch up to me around this week most years. Right before Christmas. I took this image earlier in the week, I love the cold haunting feeling. The light is perfectly natural, just simply, tripod, timer, and a few shots. To edit, I used a golden overlay and cooled the colours down. Increased the darkness and bumped up the clarity. Booyah!

Just a little note before festivities...

My Darlings,

By day, I work in the construction industry. I love what I do, the challenges I face, and the people I surround myself with.

A natural trait amongst my trade, is drinking. I love a good drink, my poison of choice is vodka on ice, not just any vodka though, I'm utterly picky. One of my other pleasures is making great cocktails for others and knowing the science behind combinations. Give me glorified piss, and I will not touch it.

As much as I talk about drinking, I'd like to point out that when I do drink, it's often with folk twice my size and to "polish off a bottle" will be defined as myself barely finishing a glass, while whatever poor individual has to withstand the rest.

I am heavily medicated for heart disease, I see my cardiologist biannually and I work out at least once daily.

Those who love and know me, have seen me ill in the morning after a "session," often. However, there is an even greater select few who know why I am sick. It's not because of the three units I've had over the course of a long night, hell no, it's because during a time of huge unsettlement in my younger life, I suffered with Bulimia. I hated using the backs of tooth brushes or ends of cutlery to remove fabulous meals from my system, so I got very much used to being sick without force. Unfortunately, years later, my system is rather delicate and a mere glass of wine and I have issues.

So, with that out in the open, I ask you to hold back your judgement and please, it's the holiday season after all.

{Festive Gatherings}

It's impossible not to love festivities. Last weekend, people who I'm contractually obliged to spend every working day with, and I got together for some fabulous celebrations. The last year has been tough, but great friends and colleagues have made the days so worthwhile. Andrew, Smurf, has been one of the most fantastic sources of support. The whole year has been a whirlwind but the outcome couldn't be better.

My gorgeous and huge sources of inspiration has been from Yan, shoots with her, sitting late at night stuffing our faces, horror films in her home cinema, everything's just heaps of fun with her!!! While photography inspiration is covered by Yan, daily Engineering inspiration comes from her husband, one of the toughest Designer's to work with, but, there's nothing better than occasionally exceeding his expectations!

Christmas is now only a case of a few weeks away, the Christmas party invites are coming in thick and fast and "ooh the sparkles" have got me super excited!

One of my favourite aspects of the Christmas season, are the ridiculous sequins which you can get away with, and when layered with soft textures and minimal colour, you can get away with "holiday chic" as opposed to "a five year old dressed me."

For group formals I stick to pastels and polite heels, whereas winter bar crawling has to be done in platforms and leather.

There are a few people who deserve the title of true idol in my eyes. One of whom is my Grandfather, Charles Nicholas Helberg. I idolise him for his resilient good nature, endless courage and epic wisdom. Looking back at old photographs of him, it dawned on me that he is one of true style icons. My simplistic tastes, love for true fabrics, robust leathers, all stem from his influences.

My Little Loves,

I hope you all have had a fabulous weekend just past. I'm just catching up on work and getting back to you, reading through your beautiful comments.

Recently it's been very non stop.

Last weekend, one of the best people in my life, took me far Northwards for a dose of sanity and some fabulous spa action, in a Centre Parcs in the North Lakes. After spending the night before in Birmingham with my gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) Joo, and people I see every day and forget how fantastic they are, we jumped in the car and gunned it northwards.

The weather was chilly and refreshingly wet. My little gillet came in perfect, nature and the elements had nothing on me.

The week before, Marlow Brewery had an open night, £10 - 5 pints, brilliant atmosphere, and of course, I had to try out a new spirit local to buckinghamshire, Caralicious. Normally I'm not a lover of flavour infusions, I like my vodkas plain and on ice. But the caralicious was a gorgeous mix of flavours and I can't wait to use it as a base for an espressotini type cocktail.

I was looking after my darling godbrother a few weeks back, while our mothers raided vintage markets and antique finds.

We were sat talking to my fathers family on the coast "Patty, I'm not your family, but you and Stacy are like my sisters" he told me.

It was a perfect little statement. We'll never change our blood, and my stance is pretty stubborn on family. There are people we love though, the people we choose to spend every day with, the people we want to be around. These are our daily families, the people we who bail you out when you've got a family crisis, the people who lend you cash when you've got to feed your family, the people who call to check you're home safe after far too much tequila.

A few weekends back, the family hosted the annual Bridport Hat Festival. A great weekend, utterly wonderful, with heaps of gorgeous events, wonderful glamorous individuals, fabulous soundtracks, the lot.

We thought we'd celebrate the day with a bite at one of our favourite locations in the town. The Olive Tree is one of the loveliest locations in town for a good wholesome meal with loads of deliciously locally sourced dishes.

Dolls,

The festival season in the UK is coming to a beautiful end. The bands have been tremendous, the weather (mostly) glorious, and the nights endless!

The key pieces to any festival outfit are vests, little graphic tees, cut offs and of course, with the unpredictability of the weather, a waterproof hoodie of sorts.

Dry shampoo on long showerless weekends will be your best friend... as will face wipes and a whole lotta juicy tubes!

After a long day with each other, we found that there was nothing nicer than all gathering around, my uncle Craig makes the best meals, wholesome. My job, just as it was when I was a little kid, was to make sure the gents were always supplied with beer or beverages.

Under these circumstances it's not as though I've really had outfit posts in full swing, it's kinda hard with just two outfits! However, I've fallen even more in love with my leather riding boots. They're so robust. Yesterday while the guys were shooting Warthogs in the bush, a few of us hung back by the 4x4 playing in the erosion gullies. With my big boots I was able to overturn rocks safely because only a big snake could bite through them. We found a rank scorpion.

My uncle took me fishing early one morning. Having never seen a rod in my life, I was super excited. We drove about 20minutes to a part of the farm where the river runs nice and fresh from the mountains. Beautiful. Upon getting there, -2 in Kwazulu Natal feels colder than -2 anywhere else. With the help of a bottle of diesel, we got an awesome fire going!

Like little bush buck, non of us seemed to have a penchant to travel within a vehicle. Jumping on the open back while doing the rounds has to be one of the most exhilarating ways to start the day.

Okay, come on, with two civil's in the house, I was in my element with one of my uncles. The projects he's involved with are fantastic, I shine with so much pride knowing what he and my Daddy do on a daily basis. Had to get a load of pipeline work done. Loved it.

This cane cutter, a labourer from Katse in Lesotho where I grew up, had the most amazing history held in his eyes....

Okay, with 12 of us under one roof, when my Momma says "behave yourself" it's hard not to take her seriously when she's got a bush knife!! He he he

Let me set the scene. I have a strong personality. I will be calm and graceful, but if you cross the line, I’ll warn you. If you overstep the line repeatedly, I will take action against you. Now, when it comes to family, I will bite my lip. It is not my place to say something. Now, imagine this type of personality, extreme, direct, stubborn, replicated 6 times over in large adult form.

So what better form of stress relief than a hike? Grandpa’s been driving us out a few km and dropping half a dozen or so of us out with a dog, bushknife and bottle of water. It’s an easy walk. And a great way to take your mind off bullshit.

Then, while you’re still feeling good from being out in the fresh air, pop open a few beers and loose the night. Who said families were complicated? To me that sounds pretty simple.

My dolls,

Be warned, this might be a bit heavy.

Every single day we fuel cancerous cells in our bodies. Just simply by breathing in oxygen. Each day we live, we literally kill our fabulous selves ever so slightly. Creepy to think about eh?

So, why risk chances to increase that chance of an amended expirey date? It seems utterly illogical. No human deserves for that date to come closer, it’s something that is beyond our power and capacity entirely. Parts of my family are very religious, “when it’s your time, it’s your time” they say.

Right now, I’m making a little pledge to myself and you all, but most of all, to my dear and darling Granny. In my life I will not let my body become reliant upon a cigarette. I’ve come to learn over the years that I’m not a words person. I care very little for empty words, actions speak far louder. I find that my photography helps demonstrate my actions.

Very painstakingly, with the help of Momma, very ill Granny and her house girl, we captured this image...

Just think of the impacts those little cancer sticks have... having put this up on Facebook late last night, I've had two messages from people I love saying that this is a reality which they don't want. Maybe it's time to quit. That's all I want to evoke out of this.

My Sweethearts,

This last week has been tough. Really tough. Yesterday, as a gentle stress relief, I asked my uncle “Do you fancy helping me out with some photographs? There’s an idea in my head I can’t get rid of.” He didn’t have any advanced warning about these silly ideas of mine. It started with us hacking our way through dry grass and bushland, the height reached.... over his 6” head. “Ja, I’m not too comfortable about the snakes in here. They’re meant to be hibernating, but I’m not sure.” Then we got down to the Mkomaz river and started moving towards a good spot. “Uh, ja, I can’t feel my feet. It’s bloody cold.” “It’ll be worth it Uncle Craig” I explain.

Now, lets just take into consideration the fact that it's a South African winter. The temperatures vary between -5 and 20c.

So the outcome...

Getting into the water in the first place is always the toughest challenge. Convincing your body that it's a good idea is always a struggle.

In ice cold mountain water, submerging your head, is quite.... I won't lie, bloody freezing!!!

Today, all the locals for miles have been talking. Telling the farmers about the crazy family who bath in the Mkomazi in winter. Everyone seems to have heard now about the river incident!

Anyway, I'm off to help on the staff drop off.

{Pick up trucks and cigarettes}

My loves,

Wow, today started early. Just before 5am I heard the deep roll of my grandfathers voice, “Shit I’m late” I think to myself, without comprehension that anything could be late at 5am on a cold winters morning. Boots on over my little harem cotton trousers. Jacket on. No make up. Juicy Tube lipgloss and YSL foundation is obsolete at this time.

Into the truck for the staff pick up. There’s soft mist over the river, frost on the ground, the time says 4:57 and the temperature reads -4c. Eh eh eh?

After setting the guys up, Grandpa and I head into the kitchen where my Momma and Uncle have made a big ‘ole pot of porridge. Perfect. After a quick wash, I set up for a morning of work from home while Momma and my Uncle see to Granny.

Lunchtime is hot, around 25c. “You ready Lady Jane?” Grandpa asks while throwing a baseball cap my way. We jump in the cruiser and head off into the bush. The game animals are pretty darn beautiful. On a few occasions, we get stuck on the dirt tracks, but that’s what you have 4xwd for. Easy. Grandpa finds a great use for me while we’re driving between teams of staff while we’re cutting back 60tonnes of sugar cane, while he’s focused on the driving, I’m his perfect cigarette lighter.

The farm is endless, it takes hours to drive around from field to field. The animals are gorgeous, poachers are discouraged. It's a nice life, a life of calm. I sit on one of the peaks with Grandpa looking down, all that greenery below us is his office. Now that's pretty cool.

As the evening falls and we sit talking into the night, the horror stories raise their nasty head. Threats from locals and squatters on the farm are rife. There's a huge bushknife which never leaves my Grandfather or Uncles side. The squatters occupied an area when it was built, so as a result, they get a compound with access road and all sorts. Seems a bit of a piss take.

{Boer Settlement in Kwazulu Natal}

So another hot day in Kwazulu Natal. The nights are something else. They get pretty darn cold. But once the sun is up, it's utterly lovely.

My family in this part of the world descend from the original settlers to South Africa. Boers. Politics in Africa is like one big pot of trouble and there are things you just learn to accept. On the farm here, when it was purchased, there were squatters occupying a piece of it, which means that once it was bought, they had a whole string of rights to the land their ancestors come from (sound like a familiar story from Zimbabwe?). Anyway, it was utterly eerie yesterday to drive up within the farmlands, and make a trip to an original Boer settlement. Now this is getting really Eerie. There's a larger than large chance that somewhere along the line, my family would have shared the same blood as these settlers. Really eerie.

Hello my Sugar Sweets,

Well, it’s late evening and the day has been endless.

It all started at around 10am last friday. My Granny, one of the most amazing human spirits in my life, had been ill for a while, but this time had taken a bit of a turn. While at work beavering away on some great projects, I had a text from my Momma, Granny wasn’t doing well. It was 10am, we were scheduled to leave for South Africa to see her only the next wednesday. Momma explained the situation. “When can we fly?” I asked. Mum advised “I’m looking now, 5am tomorrow.” “Done.”

Left yesterday morning at 5am. Arrived in Johannesburg at 10pm after a change. Then crashed with my lovely cousins and aunt. Internal flight this afternoon, arrived at 5pm. Met my gorgeous Grandpa and Awesome Uncle, and we all headed to see Granny at the hospital.

So my darlings, my travel wardrobe is, eh herm, ever so slightly limited this time, with a very rushed pack. The priorities: 2x laptops (1 work and 1 private), 1x Ipad2, 3x gap tops, 1x northface jacket, 1x berghaus thermal layers, 1x vintage leather biker boots, 1x harem trousers, 1x cashmere gap jumper, 1x H&M lace scarf, 1x Nike trainers (love running in Africa!!!)

{Photo Diary: Rome}

Oh my sugar schweets,

The last week has been one of the worst to date. My LDE disappeared off for a chance to catch up on sleep and explore new places on annual leave, leaving little old me to his projects. We had some issues on one of the trunk mains in London, took alot of energy to stay focused and get things done. Most importantly and heartbreakingly my gorgeous Granny in South Africa has taken ill, and so I’m pushing every ounce of positivity her way. The week after next, Momma and I head over to see her. Really sobering and heartbreaking, but, we have an amazing family and everyone is utterly perfect. Whichever side, Snook or Helberg, I love them all endlessly.

Reluctantly, I left with my awesome housemate and brilliant travel buddy, on friday afternoon, taking the afternoon off work (but picking up endless phone calls at the airport). We headed to Rome, a city I’d always dreamt of...

Okay, so I know there are times when we all find it a challenge to find time in our busy schedules to dedicate time to a great cause. I was elated to hear that our nation’s favourite department store has teamed up with a truly great cause. Selfridges, one of my favourite one stop locations for everything from my favourite vodka’s to little Pepe Jeans summer dresses, this month teamed up with the Zoological Society of London to emphasise the importance for us to think about how our actions affect the oceans...

Have a read through their antics of late... and pop over to the website, a simple text raises £3 (think about it as a worthwhile trade for your morning coffee on the way to work), and through Project Ocean, £3 really does go a long way...

SELFRIDGES ENGAGES IN RETAIL ACTIVISM WITH THE LAUNCH OF PROJECT OCEAN,

A CREATIVE PUBLIC CALL TO ACTION TO DEFEND THE FISH IN THE SEA

Zoological Society Of London, Major Campaigners and Artists Partner with the Brand for Five Week Intensive Initiative with Global Ambitions

London, UK – Selfridges has unveiled plans for Project Ocean, an inspiring initiative that challenges the public to imagine a world with “no more fish in the sea”. Project Ocean is spearheaded by Selfridges Creative Director Alannah Weston, working in partnership with the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Selfridges is collaborating with campaigners to use its trademark high-energy creative marketing approach to increase awareness, inspire changed consumer habits and raise funds. Running from 11 May – 12 June, the project is both a celebration of the oceans and a forum for conservationists to issue an urgent public wake-up call to address issues of sustainability, overfishing and marine protection.

Driven by the unthinkable prospect of the world’s major fisheries collapsing by 2050, the London store has given itself over to leading international marine protection campaigners and 22 environmental NGOs, as well high profile activists from the worlds of art, fashion, culinary arts, and entertainment.

Jonathan Baillie, co-creator of Project Ocean and Director of ZSL said, “Project Ocean signals the biggest-ever retail activism campaign designed to ‘sell’ and engage public mind-sets on overfishing, an issue that needs mass support. We hope that this innovative partnership with Selfridges makes the public understand the issues around overfishing, and measurably leads to more fish in the sea”.

Project Ocean will take over the store on a scale never before seen at Selfridges. From its iconic windows, façade and atrium, to The Wonder Room, foodhall and restaurants, the London store will transform itself in homage to the ocean. For five weeks, Selfridges’ Ultralounge will be the epicentre for Project Ocean activity, including world-class talks on the most pressing issues related to our oceans. There will be film screenings, NGO workshops, and Guerrilla Science for families. On Friday evenings, the Ultralounge will emerge as the Dive Bar, hosting musical acts and performances as a means to raising awareness and showcasing up and coming talent.

Project Ocean will culminate with the GLOBE World Ocean’s Day summit on 8 June, the United Nations-recognised global day of observance in celebration of our oceans and the vital impact it has on our lives. Held for the first time in a non-traditional, public location, GLOBE 2011 will welcome heads of state, ambassadors, dignitaries and MPs alongside NGOs and activist organisations to examine, workshop and revise The Common Fisheries Policy amongst others.

The project is designed to be visionary and solutions oriented but it unreservedly highlights the often-disturbing realities that threaten global marine life. To make the key themes more engaging to its 30,000 daily customers, Selfridges is injecting a high dose of style, fun and entertainment into the mix. From frogmen marching its hallowed aisles, to massive commissioned balloon installations by New York artist Jason Hackenwerth, to ‘No More Fish In The Sea?’ T-shirts by famed activist fashion designer Katharine Hamnett, there will be non-stop buzz to help convey the most pressing messages over the duration of Project Ocean.

Committed to its journey into implementing environmentally responsible practices, Selfridges has eliminated all endangered fish stocks across all their restaurants and food halls. To help consumers change their habits, a Project Ocean “Fish Guide” has been developed in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) to identify which fish to eat and which to avoid, suggesting alternatives to those under threat. The guide is free and available in booklet format or via a more detailed phone app version, including recipes from participating chefs and a sustainability-minded restaurant guide compiled by Fish 2 Fork. Selfridges will continue to work long-term on implementing responsible sourcing policies in their stores as fish species’ sustainable status is updated and better understood.

As part of its commitment, Selfridges has sponsored the creation of a marine reserve in the Philippines on a unique double barrier reef, creating a safe haven for endangered fish. The public can help ZSL to help set up and support marine reserves around the world by donating to Project Ocean and purchasing bespoke Project Ocean ribbons, bracelets and access. A marine reserve manifesto developed by participating NGOs will encourage society to make their policy makers act to protect marine reserves on a long-term level.

Alannah Weston, co-creator of Project Ocean and Creative Director of Selfridges commented: “Marine conservation is a personal passion for me. Project Ocean has created a wonderful opportunity to use Selfridges’ own unique channels to help conservationists reach a wider audience and raise the stakes for global impact. We hope our increasingly eco -engaged customers will be inspired by the project and make sustainability a part of their everyday lives. Our hope is that 100 years from now, people will be still be able to enjoy the wonders of the ocean and that Selfridges will still be able to sell fish in our stores”.

Hello my loves,

If you've been following for a while, you'll know that one of my passions is photography. You'll never find me without a camera in my hand. Some of the most enjoyment I get out of my gorgeous camera is through wedding photography. Capturing those special moments on your magical day is my driving passion. The thought of "Patricia Snook Photography" gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Photography isn't something that's born overnight, you don't wake up and decide "today I'm going to become a wedding photographer" it's a skill you work at, you destroy yourself mentally trying to get the perfect image. To those of you who know and tolerate this silliness, you'll know what I mean when I say, "I can see it in my head." When I meet gorgeous couples inviting me to shoot their fabulous day, my little head fills with images, off the top of my head I know exactly what images I'll capture.

I'm innocent to Wedding Photography, in that I care entirely about you as a couple and delivering an array of perfect images. Different levels of packages is something I'm loathe to indulge, if I'm there, I'm there for the day and a whole lotta antics before hand!

A late {Happy Birthday} to me

Listening to the Get Up Kids {Overdue} I'm sat for the first time in days, slightly comfortably with my nerd books which preach pending climate change based on hashed data from extremists.

It was my birthday on Tuesday. I am tuesday's child, whatever that brands me as, probably foolish. While yapping about the signs etc, I'm a strong willed Taurus - is that why I love steak? I'm also a Dragon via Chinese Signs. Apparently that's a good thing? We're yet to see. I've been a bit poorly the last week. My kidneys have been suffering, there are little stones in them, which wasn't on my to do list.

A year ago, sitting drinking under the stars, BBQ stench in my clothes, probably drips of booze and vomit (from myself or other) dashing Marc Jacobs or some pseudo designer. Actually, from memory, it might have been Indie Boy's uni hoodie, anyway, I never thought my year ahead would have turned out as it did. It's been a fantastic adventure - and the shoes have just escalated in fabulosity.

This year I am proud to share with you:

*fantastic jobs with the top notch hydro consultancy, Hafren Water and a secondment to Severn Trent Water*returning to my favourite company where I am so motivated and passionate about role.*completing half an MSc in half a year! *gaining 2/3rds of a BEng! Which is so exciting for me because I work full time too*as of this week, Wondering Weddings is my official company in the making - seriously!? *my wedding photography side of life is shooting into the stars fantastically*meeting a whole lotta fantastic people through my travels and work*some great travels with people I love and adore (here, here, here, and here)

Today, the fabulous Yan is taking her Canon and equipment as heading Eastwards for a few months to study under a fantastic photographer. Here's wishing her all the best, I'm so excited for all the great opportunities she's going to have and can't wait to see her progress! It's all very very exciting!!!

Dolls,

So as the Royal Wedding creeps up on us, there are endless questions, her dress obviously is the biggest! But as the unpredictable April weather teases us, I'm wondering what exotic location she'll be whisked off to on her honeymoon! And as an avid traveler myself, I'm wondering what laid back travel style she'll be sporting?

As a ambassador to UK fashion houses, I'm sure it'll be something incorporating a fabulous mix of Mulberry, LK Bennett, Aquascutum, all to name a few.
