Meeting the Neighbours...

Apollo and Aura have been pretty content to say the least since the move.

There's nothing nicer than heading out into the rolling fields or up into the forest hills just on our doorstep. If you follow the dogs on Insta you'll know that Aura captured a rabbit the other morning, except, she didn't actually - she protected it from Apollo then groomed it's ears.

She did the same again last night - I don't know if it's the same bunny that she's taken a maternal instinct towards or whether she's just one soppy little Viz.

The farm at the end of the track has a lovely heard of cows, they have long luscious eyelashes and beautiful coats. The farm however also owns the local butchers in the village, I'm not going to jump to conclusions but I'm not feeling steak right now!

Most mornings the mist gets caught beneath Bledlow Ridge, casting the most beautiful low hazy light.

We walk the paths while the dogs dart around following their nose.

While we have utterly lovely human neighbours, we also have these guys who make far more noise!

But they have such cute faces!

We follow the tracks and fantasy house hunt, while our happy neighbours amble beside us on the other side of the fence, munching their greens as they go.

Making our way up the ridge, the fields open and Aura and Apollo fall into full sprint...

Then, further up the ridge the views open out from beneath the haze, exposing more of the little towns and villages nearby.

Further from the low haze the views open up and it's simply another beautiful morning.

Aura watches with intent...

Her eyes keenly peeled on a Red Kite eagle soaring above on the early morning thermals...

It drops down a little closer, with it's eyes peeled on her... errr... maybe time to head home Aura...
