Cowboy Coffee, Jackson, Wyoming
Towards the end of our break a huge snowstorm came in.
So huge infact that the area was in a state of emergency. All flights out of the town were cut off, two large avalanches had closed access to the town. Fallen pylons had cut off mains electricity to the town, leaving it running on backup generators. The mountain had closed, all lifts came to a stop.
Skiing was an impossibility.
Luckily, just around the corner from our hotel, was Cowboy Coffee.
Inside from the storm, we shook off our snow caked jackets and hunkered down...
Outside, it was a complete whiteout, while inside, the smell of coffee rolled through the shop.
With no place to go, no where to rush to, we ordered bottomless filters...
...a selection of smoothies,
...a delicious grilled bacon croissants.
We slouches into the sofas, sipped our coffees, and delved into excellent brunch selections...
