Chocolate Cashew Milk
This is easy.
And I mean easy....
Before we talk about how fantastic raw cacao is for you, let me explain the details.
For approx 500ml Contains: 50grams cashew nuts (soaked for around 60mins before), 500ml water (filtered, and chilled), 2 heaped tablespoons raw cacao powder.
Method: Blend Cashews with water until entire smooth, then mix in cacao powder.
When soaked, cashews become smooth and creamy...
... then when blended it becomes deliciously smooth.
Mmm... look at that, you'll never have to buy milk substitutes again!
Now, onto the cacao, the benefits are endless.
One of the things I love about a dollop of cacao, is that it contains anandamide which is a molecule linked with feelings of happiness and euphoria. I have a glass of this milk every now and then at the office when I know it's going to be a particularly tough day.
It's also packed with polyphenols and antioxidants, a powerful combination which proteins our hearts.
Oh, and also, it tastes pretty great too...
