There is something you need to know. Hot, chocolate.
Most chilly mornings this week, the coffee has been swapped up for this gem of a combination. It's so simple, so easy, and so damn good.
Where possible we try to give milk the slip for other more nutritious combinations. Soy is not at the top of any wish list but Oat and Almond based milks are always in the fridge.
To start things off, dunk in some cinnamon, sticks are brilliant because you can fish them out afterwards and they leave the scent rather than being too over whelming.
Heat a cup of almond milk and half a cup of something a bit thicker, I've used Oatly cream. Stir on a low heat until it tickles boiling. Using any suitable utensil fish out the cinnamon stick if you've chosen to veer down that route.
Now it's time to get serious. Green and Blacks coco powder is so rich and creamy, but even still, we use the prescribed amount and then some. Use your discretion and add to taste.
Stir in the chocolate, let it all melt together.
Truly I could sip this all day, it's so rich and warming.
It's like a cure for winter in a mug.
