Into the hills

In preparation for skiing and climbing expeditions, we had been regular shoppers at a local Costwold Outdoor and one of the store offers included free OS maps after certain spends. In a backward logic, we thought it best to make the most out of the free map of the rolling shropshire hills.

With the application of my fantastic map thumbing gold Duke of Edinburgh abilities, we aimed in a direction and challenged our pace...

Quickly we had peaked the Long Mynd hills, accelerating our way through the valleys.

It was so nice to get up to the clouds and cover a few miles at pace.

Getting down into the little town of Church Stretton, rehydration was at the top of my list. We nipped into Ginger and Green for a protein salad and a pint of hydration.
