Breakfast bread & the breakfast club

Sunday saw some early baking in preparation of a Breakfast Club appointment. I promised a contribution of bread, and the fantastically patient Andrew, created his quick go-to soda loaf. We've had this loaf a few times before, and the recipe is a quick and easy method...

Contains:

-340grams mixed flour

-340ml milk

-2 large tablespoons natural yoghurt

-1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

-pinch of salt

Method:

Preheat oven to 200c

Mix dry ingredients, the add wet. Mix together and add some extra flour if need be, or if the mixture looks too dry, add in some extra milk.

We wrapped up the warm loaf and took it over to the gorgeous Jo's flat. Still warm, it crumbled softly - a perfect accompaniment to poached eggs and homemade banana bread!
