{On the Bookshelf: The Power of Habit}

Written by Charles Duhigg, The Power of Habit explores a series of case studies and the application of habit. My first music teacher found that as a child, new lines of music would take me on average 16 repetitions to commit to memory. Later in life I'd practice the 16 repetitions and apply it to the formation of habits.

At its core, The Power of Habit contains an exhilarating argument: The key to exercising regularly, losing weight, raising exceptional children, becoming more productive, building revolutionary companies and social movements, and achieving success is understanding how habits work.
