{Photographic How To: Head in the Clouds}

This afternoon I got home just before sunset, at 2pm. Next week we see the shortest day this winter. Then I get back to 5am images without waiting until 9/10am until the sun finally rises.

When moving Andy and I concluded that we'd need a flat with two bedrooms, for multiple reasons including excess of shoes, visitors, but most wonderfully he agreed that I need space for images in the morning. While thinking about it more and more I reckon it was all motivated by self preservation because 5am isn't a time he likes to encounter unless we're returning home from a night. Today as the sun set and I ran back and forth with the self timer, the clouds were coming in ready to lash out with winter rain. Out of a load of images including a levitation stitch that will be seen soon, I was drawn to the blank stare of smugness in this one. Again, lens correction was abused and I can't get enough of it at the moment.

Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. Any questions give me a shout in the comments below or via the FB page, Flickr, Twitter, Formspring or messenger pigeon. Friday we had some wonderful humans around for drunkeness, pastry nibbles and gentle silliness, but otherwise it's been a very photo intense weekend chilling.
