{Eating Good: Speed up your metabolism}

My Darlings,

The below foods are just a small selection of my daily favourites. In addition to being utterly delicious, they are fantastic metabolism boosting foods.

*Chilli Peppers:
These go into everything Andy and I cook. A few weeks ago we passed the Henley Farmers Market and picked up a bowl of what we thought were sweet juicy peppers for £1, but turned out they were huge habenero's... I've never cried so much at the dinner table...
Saying that though, chilli's are fantastic for bumping up your metabolism and getting that fat burning going in overdrive.
*Cinnamon:
Cinnamon is an ingredient which never leaves the shopping list, we are always running low on the stuff because it goes into everything. In the mornings when I make a pot of {decaf} coffee, I crumble some sticks in. When it comes to {porridge oat} breakfasts, honey and cinnamon, done. Any baking gets a sprinkle of the stuff before and after it goes in the oven. 
*Blueberries
It's been a long time since I've gauged a bag of crisps, I wish I could, because it's so so so much cheaper than organic {blueberries}. But instead, my go to snack is a whole lotta blueberries. Because they've got skinny little layers of skin, I'd truly advise going for organic. 
*Green Tea
Months ago, if you had told me I'd be drinking five cups of green tea a day, I'd have laughed you out of the room. Now though, after a bought of flu, drinking a few cups a day, I feel fantastic.
