Cake in a cup?

Yes please. One of the lovely Hydrologists at the consultancy I'm interning at, asked me for a recipe I've been talking about....

I'm going to share a dirty secret with you.... Cake in a cup!

Easy peasy, make up a batch and leave it in your fridge for when you've got a cake in a cup craving!

You'll need:
4 Tablespoons self raising flour
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

Then to taste:
For chocolate cake in a cup, add a few tablespoons of coco powder, ground chocolate, white chocolate, vanilla, basically whatever you wish! Try hot chocolate aswell, that works too! Ooh mint flavoured hot chocolate... one to try!

Mix it all together then....

Microwave on super high for around 3 minutes, the first time or so you'll just have to check how your microwave cooks it because the first time.... I nearly set mine alight....

There you have it! Cake in a cup!

As long as you add lots of thick rich chocolate and extras to the basic mix, it turns out really well!
