My newest obsession are these rich creamy summer berry smoothies.
And they're pretty darn easy too...
I've been whipping up a glass each morning to drink on the way to work. With such divine weather out there as summer reaches its peak, it's all that bit more difficult to while away the hours indoors.
So, consider this a big ole mug of sunshine.
To make just over 500ml:
Contains: 500ml nut milk (try cashews out!), 100grams summer berries (I love fresh strawberries and raspberries), 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut.
Method: Add all ingredients into a blender and work until smooth.
Strawberries and raspberries are packed with vitamin C and antioxidants. Also, the phytonutrients and flavonoids in strawberries help with all sorts of health benefits, like whitening teeth and improving skin appearance.
Well, once blended together, this smoothie is rich, creamy, and packed with summer goodness.
Drop in a few ice cubes on a hot afternoon...
