Vertical Garden Growths
This week has been intense on the whole global warming temperatures rising thing. The afternoon storms have been great for filling up the water butt and replenishing the garden but still, I think it's the black geotextile layer in the vertical garden that just radiates the heat.
Still though, the salad leaves are giving me so much fresh crispy meals, and the strawbs are loving life. I'm a little intimidated by the organic potatoes that have taken over, hopefully they'll be ready to harvest shortly and I'll be able to use the space a bit better with leafy greens.
The celery has all gone to seed now, but the bunny loves the whole plant so I've been picking slices for her to indulge in. Incredibly excited about the beetroot, it's looking so strong and I can't wait to use it as a base for juices!
